limited edition sericel depicting the five classic Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto.

NOTE: the black plastic outer cover of the frame has come off  for the most part  exposing the wood frame under and it is a bit sticky.

In this sericel edition, "Around the 'World' With The Fabulous Five," the Disney gang heads to Florida to enjoy the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney World. In the background are the three major icons of the Vacation Kingdom: Spaceship Earth from Epcot,,, Cinderella Castle from the Magic Kingdom, and the Earffel Tower from Disney-MGM Studios.
The Walt Disney Studio's has chosen to recreate these characters using the fine art screen-printing process of color reproduction. Disney artists specially created the hand-inked, hand-painted animation cel which was used by Team Artm Studio of Los Angeles, California in the production of these sericels. This limited edition was produced in 1996. It is comprised of a general edition of 5,000 sericels and 500 publisher's proofs for a total maximum of 5,500 sericels.
Disney Art Editions approves the techniques used in the production of this edition and the proofs tof. Conforming to the practice of fine art printing, the screens used to create the editions are destroyed when the edition is complete. The Disney Animation Research Library maintains the original animation drawings. The hand-inked, hand-painted cel is archived with the publisher.
T are no signed or numbered impressions in this edition.
No additional multiples of this image, including proofs, have been produced in this or any other limited edition.
